Women & Punk

Back in the summer of 2009, I had the innocent idea of writing a little piece for The Guardian about women who were writing women back into punk via books, essays, and films… Little did I know where it was all going to lead…

What happened instead was a mammoth 6 part series for The F-Word, which I have foolishly allowed myself to be convinced by readers and friends would be a good idea for a book…

I’m at the point of trying to work out how to accomplish this seemingly impossible task at the moment, and along the way am researching all sorts of punk related matter, some of which I intend to write about here, some of which I will save for the book…
